The plant receives 14.000 tons of organic material per year from agricultural activities and produces 100 Nm3/h of renewable gas, equal to the consumption of 1.200 inhabitants. Biomethane product is put into the French national grid. In addition to production of a “green” gas, there are many positive effects of the project: elimination of storage problems and spreading of wastewater, improvement of agronomic practices, environmental benefits and a contribution to the fight against climatic change. The project avoids the emission into the atmosphere of the equivalent of 1.557 tons of CO2 every year.
