A2A and BTS Biogas together for the development of new plants
A2A and BTS Biogas have signed a letter of intent aimed at defining a joint venture to build new plants and reconvert existing infrastructure (which will be supplied by animal and plant waste) with equal participation in new projects.
The two companies want to make a concrete contribution to the development of the circular economy through the production of renewable energy from agro-food sector waste.

Versalis and BTS Biogas: development of an innovative technology for the production of biogas from lignocellulosic biomass
BTS Biogas and Versalis, a company of the ENI Group, have signed an agreement to develop and market an innovative product that will be based on the integration of proprietary Versalis technology for the thermo-mechanical treatment of biomass, using BTS Biogas technology for the production of biogas through fermentation. Thanks to Metanlab (a specialised biogas laboratory) it will be possible to test the effects on biogas production of the pre-treatments developed by Versalis.

Engie and BTS Biogas: a green partnership
Consistent with the positioning of the two companies, the partnership between ENGIE and BTS Biogas aims to share know-how and generate opportunities for important decarbonization projects in Italy, by sharing a pipeline of projects that will be developed synergistically. The common goal is to increasingly reduce climate-changing emissions and to make the most of organic waste from municipalities, agri-food companies and farms.
